Research Paper

Today our lesson was about learning how to write a research paper. Writing a research paper sounds hard but by following the correct steps, it is quite easy. During the class, our lecturer had asked us to choose a topic of research and we were required to select three articles of our choice from the Internet. The articles selected must be from credible and reliable sources. After that we were then asked to write out an outline based on the articles that we have found. Through this class, I was exposed to the best and most effective ways of writing a research paper which will prove to be extremely useful in my third year when I need to complete my final year paper.

The research topic that I have chosen is cyber bullying and then it was narrowed down to the causes of cyber bullying. Cyber bullying is bullying that takes place using electronic technology. Electronic technology includes devices and equipment such as cell phones, computers and tablets as well as communication tools which include social media sites, text messages and websites. Cyber bullying is a danger to society as it leads to many adverse effects on both the bully and the victim. It is an international issue that needs to be resolved.
